San Francisco Police Inspector ‘Dirty’ Harry Callahan and his new partner, Early Smith have been temporarily reassigned from Homicide to Stakeout Duty. Meanwhile, those of the city’s criminals who manage to avoid punishment by the courts are nevertheless being killed by unknown assassins. Callahan begins to investigate the murders despite the orders of his superior officer, Lieutenant Briggs. A man has to know his limitations…

After Harry’s arrest of a gambling kingpin results in a conviction for murder, a group of thugs shoot up Harry’s car and try to kill him. Harry overpowers them and is paired with a new partner, Insp. Al Quan (Evan Kim). Within days of this assignment Harry and Al find themselves working on a mysterious death of a rock star, who was on location filming a movie directed by Peter Swan (Liam Neeson). After one of Swan’s crew is killed in a Chinatown robbery that is foiled by Al & Harry, Al discovers a list of celebrities on the dead man that includes the dead rock star and one Inspector Harry Callahan. They soon discover that this is part of a strange game called the Dead Pool, and it isn’t long before other people on the list turn up dead…and someone starts making attempts on Harry’s life…

Big Enos and Little Enos have opened a seafood restaurant and want to promote it in their usual fashion. The Bandit is unavailable this time, though, so they enlist Buford. “Trigger” is brought out of mothballs, a large fish is strapped to the roof of the car, and the new Bandit is on his way on another wild cross-country run. But where there is the Bandit, there is Sheriff Buford T. Justice.

A New Orleans detective is leading an investigation into a killer who is raping and murdering women. His enquiries lead him into the seedy side of town where he is no stranger off-duty. All this contrasts with his home life as a single parent with two young girls. Then on the case he meets rape counsellor Beryl Thibodeaux with whom a relationship possibly offering some normalcy starts to develop.

A couple of escaped convicts on the run find refuge with the Church when they are mistaken for two priests. The two are keen to flee but are unable to do so without the help of Molly.

A descent into Hell is triggered when “Ex-Lord” Donald Brocklebank finds that he must leave Longleigh House for London to find a way to pay for the medical treatments for his wife Nancy. Alone, his over-protected, delusional, adult son, James, fancies himself in charge of the manor house with his terminally ill mother, and barricades the two of them into the house for a series of ever more panicked home treatments, mistakenly protecting her from the arrival of Nurse Mary and any outside help.

The four-inch-tall Clock family secretly share a house with the normal-sized Lender family, “borrowing” such items as thread, safety pins, batteries and scraps of food. However, their peaceful co-existence is disturbed when evil lawyer Ocious P. Potter steals the will granting title to the house, which he plans to demolish in order to build apartments. The Lenders are forced to move, and the Clocks face the risk of being exposed to the normal-sized world.

A guy starts a fake casting agency in hopes that he will meet his soul mate.

An abused woman (Lopez) discovers that the dream man (Campbell) she married isn’t who she thought he was. She and her daughter try to escape (aided by her previous boyfriend, played by Futterman), but he pursues her relentlessly. Fearing also for the safety of her daughter, she decides that there’s only one way out of the marriage: kill him. ‘Fred Ward (I)’ (qv) has a guest-starring role.
