Based on the Bram Stoker Award nominee short story by cult author Joe R. Lansdale, Bubba Ho-tep tells the “true” story of what really did become of Elvis Presley. We find Elvis (Bruce Campbell) as an elderly resident in an East Texas rest home, who switched identities with an Elvis impersonator years before his “death”, then missed his chance to switch back. Elvis teams up with Jack (Ossie Davis), a fellow nursing home resident who thinks that he is actually President John F. Kennedy, and the two valiant old codgers sally forth to battle an evil Egyptian entity who has chosen their long-term care facility as his happy hunting grounds.

Film adjustment of street tough Jim Carroll’s epistle about his kaleidoscopical free fall into the torturesome world of drug addiction. As a member of a ostensibly invincible high school basketball game squad, Jim’s life centers around the hoops court and the court becomes a metaphor for the world in his mind. A best friend who is dying of leukemia, a coach (”Swifty”) who takes unaccepted liberties with the boys on his team, adolescent sexual angst, and an insalubrious appetence for heroin — all of these begin to entrench on young Jim’s dream of decorous a basketball game star. Soon, the dark streets of New York become a refuge from his mother’s climb business concern for her son. He can’t go home and his only escape from the realism of the streets is heroin for which he steals, robs and prostitutes himself. Only with the help of Reggie, an older region friend with whom Jim “picked up a game” now and then, is he able to begin the long journeying back to sanity.

In a futurist Britain, a gang of teenagers go on the violent disorder every night, licking and raping incapacitated victims. After one of the boys quells an rising in the gang, they knock him out and leave him for the police to find. He agrees to try “aversion therapy” to foreshorten his jail sentence. When he is finally let out, he hates violence, but the rest of his gang members are still after him.

For twelve years, the methodic IRF agent Harold Crick has had a routine lonely life guided by his wristwatch. However, one day he hears the narration of his life in off, telling that he is going to die pretty soon. Meanwhile, he audits Ana Pascal, the owner of a bakery that is in debt with the IRF, and falls in love for her. Harold is advised by Professor Jules Hilbert to change his monotonous lifestyle while he tries to find Karen Eiffel, the author of the story of his life, who is researching means of killing the character, and convince her to change the ending of the story.

In 1989, Nino Brown, a small time drug dealer, is convinced by one of his fellow thugs that the wave of the future is in the cocaine derivative, crack. Brown sees potential in crack and sets out to establish himself as chief kingpin by killing off his rivals and even going as far as to take over a whole apartment complex. Out to stop him are undercover cops Scottie Appleton and Nick Paretti. Appleton especially wants to get Nino because of the fact that he murdered Scottie’s mother as part of a gang initiaton. Also involved is Pookie, a former crackhead who wants to bring down Nino as well.

The year is 1936. A professor who studies archeology named Inidana Jones is venturing in the jungles in South America searching for a golden statue. Unfortunately, he sets off a deadly trap doing so, miraculously, he escapes. Then, Jones hears from a museum curator named Marcus Brody about a biblical artifact called The Ark of the Covenant, which can hold the key to humanly existence. Jones has to venture to vast places such as Nepal and Egypt to find this artifact. However, he will have to fight his enemy Renee Belloq and a band of Nazis in order to reach it.

Terrorists take over a 747 bound from Athens to washington d.c. D.C., purportedly to effect the dismission of their leader. intelligence service expert David Grant suspects some other reason and convinces the war machine that the ‘plane should not be allowed to enter U.S. airspace. An assail missionary post is devised, using a peculiarly fitted out ‘plane intentional for mid-air crew transfers, and Grant finds himself aboard the 747 with a team of armed forces anti-terrorists who have to defuse a bomb and sweep over the terrorists.

An American teenager who is obsessed with Hong Kong cinema and kung-fu classics makes an extraordinary discovery in a Chinatown pawnshop: the legendary stick weapon of the Chinese sage and warrior, the Monkey King. With the lost relic in hand, the teenager unexpectedly finds himself traveling back to ancient China to join a crew of warriors from martial arts lore on a dangerous quest to free the imprisoned Monkey King.

One day, Horton the elephant hears a cry from help coming from a speck of dust. Even though he can’t see anyone on the speck, he decides to help it. As it turns out, the speck of dust is home to the Whos, who live in their city of Whoville. Horton agrees to help protect the Whos and their home, but this gives him nothing but torment from his neighbors, who refuse to believe that anything could survive on the speck. Still, Horton stands by the motto that, “After all, a person is a person, no matter how small.”

A mourning mother, Telly Paretta, is struggling to cope with the loss of her 9-year-old son. She is astonished when her shrink and her hubby tell her that she has created eight years of memories of a son she never had. But when she meets the father of one of her son’s friend who is having the same experience, Telly embarks on a missionary post to prove her son’s beingness and her sanity.
