Plot Summary:
Set in Canton, China in the 1940s, the story revolves around a miserable wannabee mobster who aspires to become a member of the infamous “Axe Gang.” Other characters let in an objectionable landlady and her seemingly frail married man who show sinful powers in defending their turf.
