In the heart of the beautiful and historically rich Dordogne Valley of France, a team of archaeology students and their prof diligently work to bring out the ruins of a 14th-century castle. For prof Edward Johnston, the protrude is the climax of a womb-to-tomb dream. Aided by help prof Andre Marek, his son Chris and students Kate, Stern and François, joseph eggleston johnston has made major strides in unearthing not only La Roque Castle but also a monastery and structures from the encompassing settlement of Castlegard. But things are about to go haywire… funny of the dig’s benefactor, outside engineering science potbelly (ITC) and the man who runs it, Robert Doniger, prof joseph eggleston johnston heads to ITC hq in New Mexico to get some answers, and while he’s away, his students see a bedroom that has been sealed for more than 600 years. Marek and Kate fall into the precarious room, and just before a near calamitous cave-in, they make two startling discoveries — a bifocal lens, which couldn’t have been invented before the sleeping room was sealed, and even more intriguing, a handwritten plea for help dated April 2, 1357…from prof Johnston! set to solve the mystery, the students head for ITC headquarters, where they are knocked out to learn of Doniger’s new conception — a political machine that can in reality conduct third-dimensional objects through with space. Although he meant for the device to revolutionise shipping, Doniger unknowingly opened a wormhole that leads like a shot to the 14th century, and prof Johnston, who had insisted on experiencing the find himself, is now at bay in a venomous French vs. english language feudal war! Can Johnston’s loyal students come through one of the most wild battles in world history… and make it back to the 21st hundred alive?
